You have two buckets to wash your car, one contains the shampoo which you use to clean the car, the other bucket has clear clean water in. Once you have washed an area of the car with the shampoo mixture, you clean out your wash mitt/sponge in the clear water bucket before moving on to wash another area with the shampoo mixture again and keep repeating ;)

People think i'm a fucking loser for doing this ... But it's very good.
Look at the bottom of the two buckets when you've finished washing. One will be clean, the other will have loads of shit in.

Its only a summer thing for me.
Machine polish the car around the end of april, use two bucket method throughout the summer.
Then as soon as it gets to october it just gets washed every month or so with just a quick wash down with one bucket.

I've heard of this being done before and it really does make a difference apparently, may trry it when my saxo is on the road again and i am driving it enough to get it dirty.
i've been recommended "Claying" it after too, before polishing so may try that too :)
