Hereby I want to show you my Saxo project!!

About me: I am Jaco 21 years old and I’m from Holland!

My English isn’t that very good so I will let the photo’s do the talking 
This is how I bod my saxo. It’s a 1.6 8v from 2001
http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z138/jacofonkie/q5.jpg
http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z138/jacofonkie/q2-1.jpg

First i mounted a new grill:
http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z138/jacofonkie/100_1983.jpg

Next i started with my ice install.
http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z138/jacofonkie/18-08-08_1720.jpg

http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z138/jacofonkie/21-08-08_1859.jpg

And my new door panels cause the speakers didn’t fit in the doors.

http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z138/jacofonkie/28-08-08_1803.jpg

After 3 weeks i didn’t like the sound of the bass (when my boot was open I lost the bass) so I started with a new install. Its just a simple install but its LOUD even with the boot open!!!

Jaco-Saxo-
4th March 2009, 18:35
Thanxs for the compliments!!
Accept for my door panels i've done nothing about my interior. I've got plenty of plans for it, but the lowering etc comes first. Next month i planning to order new tale light's. Complete red ones with LED!!

Because i've got 9's at the back with a 215 tire there is some rubbing on the arches while i'am bouncing in (I dont know the right expresion) There for i've mounted a spring construction at the back that will function as a "bumpstop" but don't take the comfort away.
When iam going to lower the back, the car will rest at this spring and don't come down. Because of that i must make the lenght of the spring shorter but make the spring stiffer.
I want to drop the back at least 4 cm or more. At the front i want to drop it at least 5 cm.

I have to say when i first saw it I thought oh no, as most people would with the carzone bodykit. :wall::n: Then I saw ur first ice install doorcards looked good, but boot looked and would have sounded terrible:n:, then u improved that slightly, in the very next picture so fair play!:y:

TBH i thought it might turn out good when u said ur from holland seem to have good taste over there!;)

Then I saw the dimma bumper and thought thats deffintley a step in the right direction, looked good in the pic with the bonnet bra.:y: BUT then I saw the dimma spoiler!:n:

But the think that stood out a mile was the wheels and ride height just didn't look right,:n: then next picture some lush wheels with a slight tyre stretch! :y::clapping: Then I was thinking just sit alittle to high for those wheels then, fitted the coilovers.:y:

love the last photos, Overall looking good apart from the dimma spoiler:clapping::y:

BUT is that defintley a vtr? or has it been converted? might be different over there but door panels dont look right for a vt!

Just edited it incase you dont understand english very well just look at the smilies

10th April 2009, 16:36
Love it mate, although the only thing that lets it down for me is the eyebrows. Maybe bad boy bonnet instead?

Keep it up!

10th April 2009, 16:59
well doen mate i think that actualyl looks really good, im not a fan of kits but this is ok i spose.. perhaps taking the kit off would make your car a brilliant euro example, unless euro isn't what you want. imo the exhausts are a little too over done, ... lovig the wheels and the new ride height also the paint looks in great condition

keep us updated pal

Jaco-Saxo-
9th January 2010, 19:34
Some new update's from Holland:cool:

New rearlights:
http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z138/jacofonkie/Foto0220.jpg

i've also changed my doorpanels and compo:
From this with a fusion comp
http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z138/jacofonkie/28-08-08_1803.jpg

to
standaard panel with a Ground zero hydrogen compo
http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z138/jacofonkie/Foto0374.jpg

I've also mounted a US module (crappy pics)
http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z138/jacofonkie/Foto0378.jpg
http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z138/jacofonkie/Foto0381.jpg
http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z138/jacofonkie/Foto0383.jpg

And painted my wheels for the winter:
http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z138/jacofonkie/Foto0372.jpg
http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z138/jacofonkie/Foto0370.jpg
http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z138/jacofonkie/Foto0368.jpg

I've also changed my ICE and covered my abc styles.
http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z138/jacofonkie/Foto0028.jpg

There are coming up some real big changes this summer.
New colour and clean (euro) details
a 165-45-16 tyre on a 7.5J rim at the front and a 195-40-16 tyre on a 9j rim
instead of 195 at the front and 215 at the back.

AST can make a shorter spring for my coilover so this summer i hope to lower the car another 10 a 15mm

Hope you like it:cool:

Thnxs, the woofers are 150rms a piece, the gz comp 80rms and the rockford 6x9 70rms.
No schock numbers, but its loud without losing quality.

http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z138/jacofonkie/2010/Foto0429.jpg

Now i have more space between my arch and the top of the tyre. So with a 1cm spacer instead of my 2cm spacer i can lower the sax more. (AST can make an custom spring 140/64/40)

http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z138/jacofonkie/2010/Foto0426.jpg

The back must drop 1 to 2 cm extra in the future.

I know. The right wheel has more camber then the left one. I'am now searching for a new axel. But its strange cause i dont have any play on my beam.

this car looks spot on, as and the updates carry on i just like it more. one thing i dont like is the rear arch, looks out of place, would look the nutz if smoothed:y: keep it up
