My mates been taking drugs again for the past few month, he used to years ago before i met him, bu he stopped, now he's started again.
Anyways, Went to his house on friday night, was having a laugh playing nintendo Wii, having drinks etc, next thing he complained of a headache, didn't really think owt about it, but he took some paracetomol, and carried on etc. Next thing its really hurting him, like axe to the skull, he said he's gonna try go to loo as he aint been all day. He goes to loo, next thing, hear this big thud. Me and my friend Bex rushed to toilet, he had collapsed in front of door, so we couldn't open it, baring in mind he's like 6 ft 4 and weighs about 18 stone. Anyways, we had to get the ambulance to come prize off the door and take him to hospital. We said should we go with him? They said you can do, but you won't be able to do anything and you'll just be sat for a good 4 or 5 hours until you can see him. So we didn't go. We went down hospital saturday morning, turns out he was bleeding on the brain, a blood clot on the brain i think? He had an operation on monday to try and reduce the pressure on his brain, the docs say they didn't achieve what they wanted but he was stable and safe for his condition although he was still very unwell. Went to see him yesterday, he was really spaced out and muddled up, probly due to the morphine and painkillers etc but he didn't really know what was going on. Asked the nurse how he was, she said he's ok, a bit distant as you can see but thats normal and she said he "should" recover from it, although she didn't sound very confident saying it. I'm just wondering if anybody has had any experience with this, within the family or anything? As i haven't and i'm really worried about him.

well i've known him for about 7 or 8 years, and never known him to have anything like this, maybe its coincidence then that its happened just a few months after he's started on them again

My cousin went to hospital in november with a headache. 5 weeks later he had died from a brain tumour. And no he never touched drugs.
