A garage once left a hammer and a pair specs in my engine bay! I guess if he'd found his specs, he would have found the hammer too... :ponder:

I have many times heard things bouncing under my car while driving along and realised I'm now one screwdriver or socket less because I've left them in the engine bay while tinkering!

Go mac d's buy a strawberry milkshake..

Set the glove on fire.

Let it burn for half a minute.

Poor milkshake over glove.

Poor bit of milkshake where they left it in the engine bay.

Go back to the garage

Say

WUUUDERRRFUUUUU. (wtf)

You left this in my engine bay, luckily i had a drink in the car to put it out with. I demand a refund. If they refuse mention that your great ancestor's great grandad works for a newspaper company, and you'd love to tell them your story.

Then run.

I would be asking why they were even in the engine bay in the first place tbh as for an MOT they have absolutely no reason to open the bonnet atall!

Are you sure its not been in there even longer from more previous work than that? If not then id certainly ask why they were in the engine bay anyway
