I wouldn't leave. The grass always seem's greener on the other side but it usually isn't. It's better to make changes here first, then as a last resort go and start again imo.
Ive moved to another country and worked away a couple of times now. I loved it. New experiences, new friends, quite a challenge.
One short term and one longer term (a year). Went to live in Romania and work there, had like an ex pat community with others who were bought in for the project. Started a whole new life for me, with friends I still visit (after 5 years now) and I now have a flat over there.
Came back to Blighty and sod all had changed in a year, all my friends were where I left them in the same jobs. Except it was worse than I remembered as I remembered all the good bits and happily forgot about chavs, speed cameras, yobs and taxes.

Im thinking of going to Ireland! All my family are their, and i was born there etc. All depends on work if its available.

As Dan said Grass is always greener and all that..
I moved away from Home back to my roots... and now im thinking it probs would of been better just to stay at home rather be in the situation im in now and stayed closer to home..
But you dont know until you try it.
One my best mates at school left school and went straight to france to become a boarding instructor.. hasnt moved back since and loves it out there..
Suppose it depends on you as a person, type of job your wanting to do etc.
Sounds good mate.

Oh yeah i forgot I lived in Ireland for almost a year too! I came home so often though it didnt feel like living abroad, it was more like working 9-5 really far away and only coming home some weekends.

Think about it every day... just having the mentality and balls to drop everything i have here and run... somedays i just think about driving home from work and just keep driving past home and onwards untill the tank runs dry, wherever it stops, i stop. But i have an apprenticeship to keep and a good GF... just hard times make you wanna run lol

I hope to move to america to further my IT career a few years after uni...
Although its all well and good saying the grass always looks greener, you don't know unless you try it
Worst comes to worst i move back home, no biggy tbh, least i would have gained valuable life experience rather then sitting at home playing it safe, lifes too short.
