the new 09 model golf is soon to be out and the new model GTI will be in september

im excited as I cant wait to see them.

anyone seen them yet? i cant search as uni computer crap

seen one of the new golfs parked up, it was black and im sorry but it was terrible!!!

Was just a 1.9tdi i think, nothing flash, maybe the GTI will be better i dont no, but the new shape is a real let down imho

Mates dads got two top level CCs, rapid cars and unbelievably smooth doesnt feel like your doing the crazy speeds you are. Handled pretty well for a big luxury car too

New Golf is a massive fail. Why go to the trouble of bringing back a legend and making it look different and sporty, and then giving its front end to a boring as fuck golf. Cus lets be honest bar the MK1 + 2 all fast Golfs have looked bland compared to the competition (MK5, even had a plastic lower bumper section on the back wtf?), or just shite like the MK3

what i have nocticed with golfs is they have 2 models which look very similar then they change it i would say quite a lot for the next 2
i.e. mk1 and 2 look very similar
mk3 looks well different from mk2 but similar to mk4
and mk5 looks different again from the mk4 but looks very similar to mk6

One of my mates mate, just got the new golf (mk6) with a 2.0 TDI engine. And its his first car. Spoilt or what!! My VTR is still quicker to 60 though :)

Ive not seen it but apparently they look better in real life than in pics.
