hello again everyone haven't been on here in awhile hope all is well, anyway that was my emotional return bit over and done with smileys/smiley2.gif

Right i have a problem regarding speeding offence which i have been wrongley accused of i just wanted you guys maybe to sure some of your experiences with these vans. particular if you have been to court over the issue and won as this is what i am on planning on doing so any help be great.

I was clocked doin 40 in a 30 now i no in my heart of heart i was not speeding although me saying this in court is not going to be the most convincing is it? smileys/smiley5.gif the van "caught" me doing this speed at 10.45pm and was in a double yellow lined area next to a bustop will this help me?there was also a speed camera right in front of them?Help?

if it was on the double yellow lines you could say it was parked illegally?

i think you can ask to see a certificate to confirm that the radar gun has been checked for accuracy within the last 6 months. as most of the guns are rubbish, ive seen stuff of a radar gun clocking a wall travelling 30mph etc lol

arent cops allowed to park on double yellow lines?or is that just in emergencies?i think playing on that is the best way to get off the offence mate

i think on double yellows they can stop but cant park (as in leave the car) but not to sure, i think you have been very unlucky but think on the up point the worst it can be is 3 points which dones really affect anythin

my mum goes past speed cameras at 20mph in 30mph zones since she got done for going at 40mph in a 30mph...she was changing a cd when a sneaky camera van got her!
