What car is the equilivant of a VTR?

Do pugs do a VTR version of the 106?
What about Renult?

the pugs had the 106 rallye which was a 1.6 8v but they cant really be compared to the vtr

Yeah the rallye had the same engine but the rallye looked 100 times cooler/rarer.

love the rallyes tbh, amazing cars. Other cars on a rough par with the VTRs in power terms would be:

1.8 Corsa SRi (Old Type) (Almost VTS Speed I think)
1.6 16v Clio RSi (98-01 Model)

And so on...

pugs is the 106 s2 xs black top vtr engine in them and then theres the s2 rallye but like said cant compair to that :)

I was always under the impression that Rallye engines were different from vtr engines, I thought the rallye s2 revved higher as well.

my mates got a 1.6 pug 206. thats similar, but think the vtr's are slightly quicker, pug 306 1.9 td similar.
