Where abouts did this happen as My Mum and irish family live about 30 miles from Londonderry and 50ish from Belfast.

and the reason theres troops going back in is because the pnsi have asked for special reconnaissance regiment to be brought in to gather info on dissident republicans

It was in antrim a fair bit from london derry, yeah its prity s*it like, dont know if its back to the 70s atm cuz theres bomb scares all the time and nothing more said about them tbh. just last week belfast city was closed cuz of a bomb scare. RIP those who died.

i did 2 years in londonderry and 6 months in south armargh and i was only 20 at the time shit me up loads we should pull all the troops out of there and iraq and get them to sort the shootings and stabbings in this country

we were gettin shown pictures of allsorts, and details of attacks that are still happenin.. alveit mostly against the PSNI.... i could easily reel a dozen off the top of my head that we got told about, all had happened within the last month or 2 of that brief
