When posts are locked there is usually a very obvious reason for this... in this case, the issue was disclosure of information to defeat copyright theft.

What you do in your own time is your business, but illegal activities/practices should NOT be promoted within this community.

It would help if mods atualy stated why they have locked the topic in the topic and then lock it.

Generally, when the moderators lock threads, a reason is given in the thread before it is locked, or via PM. Unfortuantely I don't always have the time to do so.

If Rikki wanted to know the reason why the thread was locked, it would have been better to email/PM a moderator... Posting in 'general chat' isn't going to get the most direct response, as the general public didnt lock the thread... an admin did. smileys/smiley24.gif

some music downloading isnt illegal tho but what was being said about software such as limewire and win mx is illegal so i can fully understand why the thread was locked. i think its good that we have mods that keep high standards for this forum to keep it the way it is!
