Defining an import ...

I'm kind of stuck as to whether the car i'm looking at would be classed as an import once i've returned to England.

The car i'm looking at is in Northern Ireland, which as far am I'm concerned is the UK so it wouldn't be one?
Would just be the same principle as buying a car from The Land of Haggis and bringing it to england?

Just a little afraid in case my insurance company tries to shaft me with it being an 'import'.

Silly question I know but it has to be asked!

Try getting a quote online and put the reg in, it may be able to inform you that way, Failing that ring them :y:
