Had the 2nd stage of the recruitment process today which was the written test's and they said I should find out by Tuesday so finger's crossed!

That's odd because they said if you can't drive and you get in they teach you to become a 'light driver'

That's odd because they said if you can't drive and you get in they teach you to become a 'light driver'

He told me he passed everything then at the end they said they would of given him the job if he drove.

Maybe they could of taught him but he would still be facing the problem of not having a car?

Hes moved house now like within 2 mins walk of the firestation so he says he's going to reapply and said he shouldnt have to do all the training shizzle again.

Just going off what he tells me at weekendz.

quick question- i know it sound obvious, but do they do some kind of eye tests? how good does your eye sight actually have to be?

I'm not sure tbh mate, I completed all the tests but at the begining they told us that each test has a different time limit you have to complete it in but they didn't actually tell us how long so I probably did not complete one of them in time which sucks!

Btw does any one know about interior design or know an interior designer because I am really interested?

Fucking gutted mate.

Congratulations on making it through the 1st stage though. I couldn't even manage that and I'm far from thick.

You need to try again, don't give up on it. I believe you can reapply again after 3 months.

Good luck!
