Nearlly all music tracks are blocked.

Alot of videos are starting to have audio removed and it litterally is just a video.

Cant do nothing these days.

I see the point of view that artists are loosing money, but removing their audio from other videos is ghey :n:

example

Now ruined because of lack of audio

This has annoyed me as well.

There is always someone collecting money! Lady GaGa's Just Dance had over 30m views the last time I checked, that must have raked in a fook load of money.

I dont know who'd get the money from that though. I know some artists can get pretty bummed over when it comes to money or more importantly their percentage from album sales. For example one of Diddy's bands that he made were on about 3 cents each from each dollar the album sold.

It applies to official videos, ones people have put up themselves seem fine... for now.

Old news serious.

they have a detection software aswell,
listens for frequencies + bpm,

for when ppl upload vids with even a snippet of a song, YT know which song it is,
and wont let you upload unless you opt to remove the audio ~

It's not youtube I believe. It's the PRS who can't come to an agreement with them. Its getting pathetic now. But if it did spread to Myspace I wonder how that will Pan out as its mainly bands who use that to get recognition. Heck wasn't that how Arctic Monkeys got found or someone like that.
