Hi i have just bought a saxo 1.4i west coast trim i see on websites mk1 or mk2 how can i tell? sorry if this is an obvious question

mk1 front lights are squarish and the mk2 front lights are more curvey, hope thats what you ment in your question

mk1 was late 1996 > early 1999
mk2 early 1999 > mid 2003

As you can see the headlights were the main difference externally, (rear spoiler on some models to) The engines changed over at different years to.
