my girlfriend is looking for a new car between 5-10k.

fairly nippy (about vtr speed) but she's not too bothered with performance.

i've been fairly usless with suggestions as i only know what cars i like.

so far we've looked at new mini's and new clio's.

other suggestions please...

she's got a KA at the moment. its a shit heap. it was her first car and she's wrecked it.

looks like its either a clio or a mini then?

i think mini's look better as standard and she wont be modifying it so i think a mini is the first choice.

beetles are a bit too big i think as well as being ugly.

an old school beetle on the other hand would be cool but impractical.

I know they are classified as "male" cars but I've seen a lot of females driving them too.

thanks for the suggestions

we had a look at astra's and corsa's yesterday but i think the mini is much nicer.

not sure about fiesta's. i've never liked them and i dont think she does either.
