I need help guys tried searching and got nothing,i need to no whats wrong with my car.
When driving along in any gear the gearknob is moving forward and back loads,wats causing this?
changed driveshafts and gearbox mount im well pissed off!!!!
help guys!!

is it just the gearnoknob mate not the shaft if so you just want to tighten it up. I have removed my standard one and replaced it with a raptor the bolts are underneath on these tiny allen key ones but if I remember rightly I cant mind seeing the bolts on these when I removed the old one

No the gearknob is moving in and out as if its gonna pop out of gear!!

I have heard of this happening before but only in cars like turbo's(rs turbo's are known for this) if they have too much power or shite gearboxes and the car keeps jumping out of gear but as far as your car is concerned I aint got a clue try giving scott a pm he is clued up on alot with saxo's mate

engines move, not a lot you can do about that unless you fit group a mounts, then the whole car will vibrate with the engine.
Unless its moving about inches at a time i wouldnt worry about it

No it is mate moving fucking loads,just had a recent driveshaft done on it which then caused another one to snap yeaterday which i have had replaced,now its wobbling the same amount and vibrating and wobbling through steering wheel aswell!
