NOTHING WORKS, CENTRAL LOCKING, NOTHING! NO LIGHTS!
I've taken the batt connector off and cleaned it and put it back but NOTHING?
It hasn't been serviced for a while now but surely that shouldn't stop a car starting!
WHAT COULD BE THE MAIN CAUSE OF THIS DISASTER??

Its either battery, or battery lead.

Every one have put a good point..
Prior to this.. my headunit stop working, the little light at the top, my central locking wouldn't work even though it still makes the 'BLEEP BLEEP' noise and they all stopped working at the same time about 3 weeks ago!
I got a feeling it is the engine fuse!... where the hells that and how can i check if thats blown?...

Think you've got the same thing as i have mate
im changing the alternator as once i connect the car to a mates battery everything starts working again so i think its that
but mine just died, i pulled over as my head unit stopped working and the car just cut out and wouldnt start again unless its jump started
alternator should be fitted tomorrow so ill let you know if it works! :y:

This happened to my mates car othernight,
Everything slowly died, then nothing worked, turned out to be the batter was dead and the alternator was dead.
