hey guys right i think i might have gt caught speeding. i was in a 40mph zone and then in suddenly changed into a 30mph zone and i spotted a camera and i dnt think i slowed down in time. Now the camera was facing towards me so do you guys rekon i have caught?? Is it legal to flash the frint of ur car??

Yes its legal.
If it flashed then then you probably have 3 points coming your way

Yeh did it have the lines on the floor and was it yellow and reflective

it was a truvelo i didnt see it flash. wasnt reflective no. i dnt think it had lines on the floor jus one line.

Truvelo's will catch you front on all day long :P Infrared flash. You won't have seen a thing.

Well the ones that are reflective and that have the lines painted in the road.
They need this to be legal.

there are cameras that face forward that do not flash, they have two lenses and one is to take a phot of the driver so you cant say "it was someone else driving"

I live in swindon and the cameras still work and they have the fucking vans and a cunt on a motorbike with a camera in his back box. Dont be fooled.

Cameras do not need anything to make them legal and each area has different rules.

They are supposed to have reflective paint (in most areas) but not all need lines.

AND if you are caught speeding then you have commited an offence and the law states that even though the camera did not meet the legal requirements then as it caught you breaking the law the evidence still stands (this has been tested in court)
