ASW, but nevermind...
On my way home from work tonight, travelling back to uni, I had a wee close call when a van SLAMMED on (when i mean slammed, i mean skidded to a hault) in front of me.
I had to dodge out of the way, closely missing a modded civic. I obviously said sorry, but he and his passengers (3 chavs) shouted abuse at me.
I didnt give anything back, just drove along normally until I noticed he was following me :(
So crapping it a little, I hit the A roads to try and lose him, which I was doing, but having 8 valves, he was catching at high speed.
I eventually got into Chester, with him still following.
I drove through the middle of the city twice with him still following, at this time I was bloody shatting myself, im not exactly big, and couldnt put up much of a fight, so not knowing what to do I took some dodgy side roads(at speed, but it was the only way tbh), pulled into an alley way, scraped my mirrors and sat there for 5-10 mins with all the lights off etc.
Now home safe, but parked my car round the corner.
Anyone reckon I ring the police or isnt it worth it?

I wouldn't worry about it, if it ever happens again just drive around at a steady speed. If they're trying to follow they won't overtake but if they do just go down a sidestreet, or make out that your lost and go the whole way round a roundabout.
You probably did the right thing, my mate had the same happen to him in Birmingham, the next morning he found a window bricked in of his mr2... he was followed for an hour though and was followed for "chatting up" this chavs "bird" :homme:

Should have hit Vtec y0!
On a more serious note it happens in London often. Alot of horrible things happen here actually.. Like at night time if you see someone cruising without headlamps on dont flash them because rumour has it they will shoot at you, someone was shot at before ect ect

Ahh right, I see mate.
Just that I went round someone once and saw them follow and shout abuse in my rear mirror so i stopped and got out and said to him " Is there a problem mate?" and he said "No Sorry" lol
Best place to do it is in public where there are a few cars, bit awkward on major roads and in the middle of no where, if something does kick off people can help out.

I've been chased twice once by some complete randomer in a Golf 1.4. All I can think of is that he was in the wrong lane trying to cut me and another car up. I lost him down the A roads.
Another was a tool on an estate cutting corners, I lost him too on the estate but later that night found out where he lives so I have the upper hand! He was driving a Xsara 1.4

nothing more will come of it, dont worry:y:

first off.... driving towards your house... amature mistake. Drive to a busy area.... and stop or simply drive to and park outside the local police station
easy.
or shout.... "my dad will BATTER your dad!" out the window and see how far that gets you

Some one in a mk4 astra did this to me once.I pulled out of a junction and he came flying round the corner and nearly hit me and he started followin me and I got stopped at some lights with him behind me,looked in my mirror and he's like shadowboxing obv showing what he's gonna do,so I flagged him and the lights changed and it didn't take long before he turned into a spec in the mirror and I assume he gave up.

when i was new to driving, made a silly mistake at a roundabout and a bloke decided to follow me for near enough ten minutes. In the end, pulled over, he got out his car as soon as he got to my door i sped off and went down some lefts and rights PISSING myself laughing.
Then i got followed by a pikey kid and his mate (both about 17). i was at the co-op and he said "ah bruv, can i try your car round the car park BRAAAP (he didn't say braaap but you get what i mean)" i said something along the lines of fek off.....
i just pulled over.... walked to his door, opened it, gave him a boot..... then it was him fucking off lol

I've been followed by some git in a BMW for overtaking him, i was on my merry way home and next minute he's following me around the estate. however being in a smaller car meant i could nip around the corners, plus i knew the estate like the back of my hand, so i soon lost him
best thing to do is just casually drive somewhere quite built up and park up, or pull over and wait for them to get out then rag it off haha

I've had it a few times round the Chester area, but knobs in 4x4's. I shit me self coz 1 skidded and stopped in front of me, not the best of feelings in the world, since then i did have a longish jack handle between the back seats. Just as a precaution.
Maybe he was jealous of your white wheels!

Drive like a christian... its works everytime! Theyll either get really bored with you, or overtake then just indicate right and turn left..... Has worked several times for me :D, Or pull up to your local clay shooting ground and then pull your shotgun out the boot.
