Brake upgrade?

Hi, im new to this site, was advised to join by sum guy ive bought some parts from.. anyway, just wondering if anyone has any experience in upgrading 3 stud to 4 stud hubs and hence upgrading brakes along with that (drums to disks on rear) im going to pick up the hubs and rear axel tomorrow, is there anything else i should make sure ive got off the car? and how tricky is it to do?

try and get handbrake cables with the axle.
Also brake lines will need extending by an inch or so on the rear.
