Hi, i tinted my headlights black which i found easy enough to do and looks great on the car. I left all the reflective area around the bulb reflective, and only blackened the chrome part. Now my headlights are rubbish! My fog lights shine further lol.
Have i broken the projector part?
Does this happen to everyone else that does it?
Will some bright white h4's be brighter and shine further?

What can i do to get more more shine back?

Thanks in advance :y:

well considering youve sprayed the reflective bit black they wont be as good as they did, better bulbs would help. i did this on my 306 and they didnt efect them too much.

I changed my bulbs after tinting my headlights and they were poo. One popped after a day aswell so i went to halfords and got a decent pair of bulbs. They are now more than addequate and much of an improvement than before.

when fitting the bulbs did you touch the glass of the bulb as i hear that will make them blow.

Problem fixed... hard to explain unless you've taken a headlight apart before, but basically the plastic that surrounds the main bulb had come lose. So i popped it back in its place, and now i can see where im going again :y:
Thanks for your sujestions tho

No, Was very careful. Change halogen bulbs in work all the time. They were cheap as fuck bulbs to start with so that probably didn't help.
