Vts engine problem

I started my car last night after a drive and it started makin a loud tapping sound this is the video,anyone know what it could be?i haven't drove it since just incase,oh and oil and water and everything full.

sounds like tappets mate . . hard to tell form video really, id try some tappet lubricator 1st . . .

do you just spray it in the engine?

Before you do anything else, make sure the spark plugs are tight. A guy I know spent a fortune getting his head rebuilt and suchlike, only to find it was a loose spark plug!

Yeah check your plugs. my friend of mine has had that before, tightening the plugs sorted it

There all tight mate,going to drive it too garage to see if they know in morning,hope it doesn't kill it

Sometimes a cracked/blowing manifold can cause a noise like that, failing that sounds more internal tbh

Tbh its easy enough to check, just get the car running and have a feel around the mani (without burning your hands lol)......

not mani had all exhaust checked for leaks last week and all was fine,just hope mechanic doesn't say its f***d.:y:
