hi all im just wondering if there is anyone who nos how to sort out the sunroof on a saxo because mine leaks and i went to the dealership and they wanted 50 quid for a new seal :fcuk: and i dont fancy paying tha much for a seal when i can use the old one and just seal it so ideas wud help thanks you :y:

i had the same problem on my 106. i took the seal out and cleaned it and cleaned where the seal was sitting, was totally minging. seem to work for me but mines wasn`t split or that. even go to a scrappies and get one. piss easy to do

cheers mate ill have ago at that the weekend but i cant take the sunroof off because sumone who had it before me rounded off the screws inside, so do i need to take of the sunroof or do i just simley peal off the seal and then clean and re-seal ?

i never took the sunroof off either mate. i tilted or slid the sunroof can`t remeber which and lifted the seal out. might work but maybe not. worth having a go anyway

i did mine the other day bud, had to sort the drain channels out as they rotted, sealed them up with gripfill and also put sum gripfil around where the aerial is (gota pull front of headlining down). clean the sunroof seal with soapy water and where it sits in on the actual car itself, bobs ya uncle :)
dont forget to check the drain channels with a bit of weldin rod to makesure there not blocked aswel.

ul have to pull the rubber tubes off from the inside to clean them out coz as you sed the screws are rounded n you cant get the sunroof out
