Has the car been lowered? If so, then when fitting 17's you will experience a few problems with the location of the fuel pipe. I'm no expert but I think it can be easily rectified.

This may sound abit stupid, but because your car is at standard hight it will rub on the join of the filler pipe (realy bad). But when you lower it it should just miss the join and the filler pipe but rub everywhere else in the arch.

Yer when you lower it the wheel does not catch on the filler. Mine is dropped 60mm with 17"s on it and it has a good couple of cm's clearance of the fuel filler.
