As said its a fuel cut off and you presst hat to reactivate the fuel going to injectors, just a safety feature

Inertia switch. Its a little ball bearing type thing that when it comes out of its little hole it cuts the power to the fuel pump. When you press it the little bearing goes back into its hole. It takes a couple of G's to knock one out though. Must bein hard. I would check the droplinks and stuff just to make sure theyre ok.

they will jsut say its lowered, your own fault, and to do that it must have been at some speed.

thats the thing that really pisses me off i was driving nicely earlier onwhen it happened im not one for ragging a car constantly unless provoked lol i was following another car at about 30mph.
afterwards one of the lads reakened they buckled there alloy on that same one.
and ive heard of cases where damage has been paid for even on lowered cars but i dont hold much hope. and if there not interested it means i get to mouth off at some misurable tosser ill feel bette.r about it.

Ah, you were talking about the cam belt i guess. The cam is just a chunk of metal, you would have to do something horrendously wrong to snap it whilst its in the engine ;)

there was a stupidly big speedhump in one of our local spots, was put in there to stop up drivin up and down at speed... it was so high even normal height cars had problems going over it, the ammoutn of people with lowered cars that had exhausts / sumps ripped off by it was stupid... the council had to have it removed and apologised for all damages.
argue that you pay your road tax to drive on a safe and well condition road...so you will charge them for the damage to your shock, which was obviousluy an AST coilover worth 300 quid lol... but on a serious note, do it.
