Hi all,

We seem to get alot of people asking who the best insurance company is and wat quotes they get?

Well, from my time drving and on Sax-P i have found there is only 1 insuarance company who are dominating the "Young Drivers" scene.

They are....

www.QUINN-DIRECT.com</font>

They are by far the cheapest and especially for first time drivers like myself who had/wanted to get into a good car first like a VTR/VTS.

They alloy all kinds of mods, SaxoAL has a VTR TURBO and his insurance is about £1100 fully comp, MAYBE less thinking about it.

Plus your insurance with them dosent increase when you declare mods. As long as you tell them what mods your having done so they have it on there database, your premium dosnt go up. All the ask is that you fill out a form nd send it back to them. The form is for the Machanic that fitted it to let the insurance company know thatit was fitted proppery.

And if you fitted it yourself, like an induction etc, just take the for to a machanic and get him to make sure it was fitted propperly.

SUCH AN AMAZING COMPANY, nothing bad to say about them AT ALL!!!!

NEVER HEARD ANYTHING BAD ABOUT THEM EITHER!!!!

The company that Loves boy racers LOL!!!</font>

I know this could have been posted in the topic that is out at the minuet, but this could be a global shout out for everyone who has questions about insurance!!

Hope this helps..

Thanks
Dan

I think you'll find if you asked Adrian Flux for a quote they would be cheaper.

When trying to get a quote for my FTO the majority of insurers were saying £1200ish... Tesco's quoted £920, but Adrian Flux quoted £800..... Well happy with that quote!

Each insurance company have their ideal customers who they want to insure due to your age or location etc. Thats why one company thats cheap for one person is expensive for another. People always say Tesco and Adrian Flux are the cheapest but both of them were hundreds more than what I pay with Diamond, and Elephant last year. The best thing to do is phone round them all. It's tedious but you get the best deal for you smileys/smiley20.gif

Thames City are really good, i am insured fully comp for £2300 but with all their bits on top and all that crap it works out about £2800, (£213 per month) which is not bad for the car i have and age etc next year it should hopefully drop but about £1500 so i will be even happier !

Unable to provide an online quote - rung them up, fucking rip off. £1895 F/C.

I won't touch them. Elephant insure me for £789 F/C and even Churchill charge less than them

I just did a quote online and it came up as £503 which is roughly £20 less than what i pay with Tesco However there was nowhere to put in modifications etc so im gathering it was on the basis of being standard

edit: sorry dan i just read about your mods bit, i have heard though they are pretty shabby customer service etc and i cant be arsed to transfer all the stuff over lol

I'm only insured through them on the turbo as I know one of the underwriters For Q/D. He wangled me a deal, as it were. smileys/smiley2.gif
Adrian Flux were £400 more for me on the turbo.
