Been looking at other peoples engine bays and they look great, decided i am going to give mine a good clean tomorrow! what do you advise?

a good clean and new rocker cover are going to make the biggest impact

exhaust heat shield. metal polish and elbow grease will bring that up. i did it to mine ;) (see progress thread)

Autoglym motor bike cleaner
very hot soapy water
assortment of brushes
elbow grease and time.

As long as you dont get water in your electrics or the ecu you would be ok....:y:

Or just get a grinder with a metal brush on it, alot quicker i would imagine. I did mine with it, just takes the top dirt off

Just be very careful with that method!
Ive seen it a few times where the cover has ended up with holes in!
Wire wool is good 4 stubburn rust

thats what happened when i did mine 1st tme rough. its too harsh if there is rust on it.
