Hi,

I have a Canon 1000d which i have had for a few months now, I'm wanting to expand on my lens. I currently have a 18-55mm IS. Just wondering for any recommendations ive found this one which seems to be quite good.

JESSOPS 55-250mm IS ZOOM LENS (http://www.jessops.com/online.store/categories/products/Canon/EF-S%2055-250mm%20F4-5.6%20IS%20Zoom%20Lens-70095/Show.html)

Im after lens in the region of 55-200mm that sort of area. Preferably new.

Could any1 recommend a lens or a shop/online store?

brilliant lens, defo get it, if you can find it for the right price.

i bought one a while back, the IS is a fantastic feature and you wont believe your eyes how well it works, ive shot at 1/2 seconds and got usable shots.

its £50 cheaper here. Onestop (http://www.onestop-digital.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=24_26&products_id=35)

is it worth paying the extra £50 and have it in my hand that day or wait a week?:panic:

wait a week

that 50 quid can be spent elsewhere. order a uv filter to protect the lens, cleaning spray, cloths, silica gel, lens hood (if lens doesnt come with one)
