Anyone know how much a new lockset costs from Citroen for a Saxo VTR mk2 (with immobiliser)? Cheers

Driver's side door barrel has been screw drivered (before I bought the car so I've disconnected it), only got 1 key + fob, passenger side has been delocked and boot lock is different to the key so if the fob happens to fail, I got no way of getting in my car so going to replace the locks sometime. Thought maybe someone has bought a lockset before and could say how much they are roughly.

I can imagine they would be alot - I bought a brand new lockset off ebay for sub £100 iirc and just got the keys coded up for my ECU (pre-engine conversion).

Would of thought a full lockset would include everything that needs a key?

Sounds like a good option, would have to take it to be fitted at a garage as I don't feel confident with it myself lol thanks guys.

Right, just need to know before I buy a second hand lock set.

Is the ignition barrel a simple remove old and refit new?

Can I take the new set of keys to a Timpson locksmith and have them re-programme the chips to work on the original immobolizer of the car?

Ignition barrel is an easy swap over, just remember you need your key in and turned to be able to pull it out tho, timpsons reprogramme keys for £25 i believe
