Hey people,

I'm wondering what the best wax would be for the colour of my car. It's classed as mirage grey but looks every so slightly blue when cleaned and polished.

I've got chem guys all in one polish, wet mirror finish and blitz sealant so just after a good wax.

I do all the polishing by hand so will also want a wax i can apply by hand easily.

Cheers fella. I've got some Meg's foam applicator pads which should do the trick right?

yes you can do it that way,

However a applicator wastes a lot of wax, i use my finger tips.

Sounds funky. So you basically apply the wax with your hands in the exact same way you'd do it with an applicator, leave, then buff off?

yes mate, what i will say though is make sure that the ends of your fingers are smooth before you start.

P21's?

now known as R222. very good wax, not as hard-wearing as other waxes but as stated above the good weather is coming.

Victoria red wax is a good wax as well.

I always though you used less using finger tips, using applicators is faster though.

This is just what i was adviced by Tim at Clean your car so i may be wrong.

Which will give me the best shine for my buck do you think then?

i would go for the dodo juice that we discussed earlier. Gives a brilliant finish, is durable to different weather, designed for light colour cars and is only £30

Shall order me some of that then i think and give it a go when the weather is dry.

Cheers for the help people.
