How would i solve a problem if the choke would come on whilst driving? What would i need to look at?

When driving, the car will feel exactly like it does when you bump start it.

Sorts of lurches forward then bang.

I dont think my choke comes on, on my furio during cold starts. as soon as you disengage the gears from the engine, the revvs shut off. sometimes it wont even turn over unless i put my foot on the accelerator. dont know if its a faulty choke/temp sensor or ECU

Your car dosent have a choke, try cleanin idle control valve.

is there no choke on a mk2 furio?? i only have this problem when its cold, car doesnt put enough fuel in. the MOT gave me a lambda sensor reading of 1.1. well too high and it means it under fuelling. I think its more of a temperature sensor problem. Unless the idle control valve recieves temperature information?? cheers for the help guys. this problem has been doing my head in. My guesses were lambda sensor, ecu maybe faulty.
