Noise at cold start and PAS

Just wondering what the fan type noise is when i start up my vts it goes for 30secs max then stops is this anytihing to worry about or the norm.

Also when competing in a autosolo at the weekend the powersteering kept on going really stiff when going from lock to lock thorough the chicanes anybody had this problem or it it just the fact that the pump can't keep up.

Its the EGR valve matey, blows air into the engine on startup i think, perfectly normal, as for the steering have you checked your fluid levels

make sure there is no air in the system

my power steering, makes a whining noise all the time and that doesnt seem to have any bad effect, if that helps ?

the power steering does make a high pitched whining sound all the time when the engine is running thts perfectly normal
