Focusing Noise???

Hi, just bought my first camera - Kodak Z1015IS - something to play with while learning the ropes.

Just a quick question tho... when i half press the take photo button to focus on an image, it sometimes makes a chuntering noise - like when a computer writes data to hardrive... is that normal?

its just the autofocus

yeah mate if yours has the on screen like green square you should notice it pick a certian object in this box and focus on it

yeh it does the green square thing... thought i may have had a dodgy camera! thanks for that!
