Basically... I can open my bonnet fine but it doesn't close without some persuasion. You put it down then pull the release lever to get it down a bit further. Then you have to push on it quite hard to get it to shut. The front of my bonnet is all wavey like the sea now so will have to get the dent man down soon. So i would like to get the mechanism fixed first before it gets repaired.
Is this the way everybody elses close? Anybody had this problem before?

Woops i dont know how to change the title.
Bonnet pins are effort and look gay on a non track car.
When i push it down it just pops back up and needs a lot of effort to close it which in turn is leaving small dents in the bumper.
I've tried grease and wd40 maybe ill try get a new catch from the scrappy.

Hmmm Yes i have the same problem, apart from i dont have to use that much force to dent the bonnet lol, but you have to slam it quite hard, i think i might try wd40 and grease if not new bonnet latch thingy..
