probs with my system HELP!

right i dont know what is wrong!
i have an infnity sub amp n 6x9s nd a alpine ref 9855 hu!

the subwoofer only works like on and off wen i play it loud!

i am going to buy a new battery will this solve it or does any1 else have any soloutions?????

well i had it fitted in a garage like paid 70 quid it so should be?

the sub may be blown or the wire my not be conected poperly in side the box. smileys/smiley5.gif

it could easily be that the sub blow up...



the easiest way to check (if you dont have a multi-meter) is to get one of AAA batteries (normal ones, for discman or camera) and connect it to the subs' wires. first disconnect it from the amp, than put 1 end of a wire to 1 pole, and other wire "tap" on the other pole. you should hear a clicking sound if everything is ok

what about 6x9's
are they amped? they workin?

you could maybe have the Sub turned up too loud, one of my mates had a system and when the sub was up too loud it would cut it out, which was nice lol

Could be a dodgy earth, take it back to the people that fitted the system in for you

prob solved lads cheers the amp was turned right up lol!! mongol mechanics these days! sorted now sounds sweet!!
