would polishing my saxo get rid of the light scratches and swirl marks permanently, just wondering as my saxo has so many scratches and paint work looks dull so i want to make it look better :cool:

it depends how bad the scratches are mate. As far as swirls go, you will be able to remove rougly 95% using a polishing machine and the right pad/polish combination.
Once you did this though you obviously would have to be careful how you wash the car as it is easy to put the swirls back.

ok mate, could i get rid of most of them by polishing by hand or would i need to use a machine.

you could remove some by hand mate but its very hard work!!!

Use megs 3 stage polish, best thing to use by hand :)
although a using a machine with 3 stage would come out even better

if u can only do it by hand then that 3 step is the thing to buy! it does need abit of elbow grease but the results are very good!

Best to use machine polishing..
Polishing by hand only limits ur results and is very hard work
