As the title says
It only happens at a low speed say 1-10mph.

The story goes
Have a oil leak and squealing noise so took it to engine and the following was the problem after they looked at it
OIL LEAK-FRONT CRANK SHAFT SEAL REQUIRED
SQUEALING NOISE-THRUST BEARING GOING

I was quoted £500 to have the jobs done and as you could imagine just said no so took car away and now after them looking at it there is as the title says a clunking wich sounds spring coming from the passengers side.
I wont take the car back to that garage as personally i have had a new quote of £200 to have the jobs done so hence their obviously screwing me over.

Obviously i will get the guy to look at this new problem but anyone have an idea on what this knocking noise could be?
I hope its just a case they aint tightened some bolts up probably after looking at the original problems.

i had a clunk from the same place for ages, turned out a bad garage had fiitted the wrong spring causing it to touch the bodywork slightly and get stuck, when i turned at low speed the spring would free itself with an almighty clunk, as you aint had a spring fitted could it be just put back together wrong be the garage???

Thats what i hoped but to be fair where they looked at for the problems i asked them to look at,they would not affect the passenger side fron wheel.

been told it could be the tap mount bearing but certainly isnt the coil spring as thats fine.
