Right, when the bearings go in an altenator what kind of noise does it make?
And when the pulley needs replacing what kind of noise do they make? Like a high pitch whirring?
Need to know, as I want the noise to go, really winding me up now!

High pitch noise could be the fan belt needs tightening or replacing.
at present my car is whining and need a new thrust bearing.

belts due a replacement soon, was wondering if it was worth doing the pulley at the same time to see if that cures it..
but the noise has been going since i stuck this one on, about 6/7 months ago! :wall:
