Hey guys :p

On the way home from work earlier I noticed a creak coming from the rear of the car, I have done a search and Haven't come up with much. It happens when I go over bumps or swerve sharply (I was just trying to find out when it happened:p) Most common seems to be the driveshafts making a noise and it sounding like it's coming from the back. But i'm 98% sure this is actually coming from the back as it happens when I reverse onto my drive. One wheel goes over the edge off the drive and *creak* then second rear wheel and *creak.*

Now the only way I can describe the noise is.. When you park on a hill and put your handbrake on, but not on quite enough and you get in the car and the handbreak creaks. It sounds like short sharp bursts of that. I can't feel any resistance from the handbrake, and yes.. It is off :P

Any suggestions? As the car is being taken to bits on the weekend anyway so anything to check would be grateful! :y:

Cheers
Chris

Cheers for getting back mate.

And welcome to the forum :y:

I'll worry about it when the car's back on the road. I've also been told it might be the brake bias valve creaking a bit. So i'll oil that up a bit when the car's back together.
