Had my MOT last month and i got one of those recommendation slips with it, basically i have slight play in the ball joints of the suspension both sides. Was just wondering how much you reckon this will cost to sort.

Cheers

The only ball joints on the suspension is the lower arms, so yh probably them, lol. You shouldn't be charged more than an hours labour for getting them fitted because it should take no more than about half an hour realistically.

that would be in an ideal world, but garages go on booktimes :(

I must be working in that different world then shag. Lucky me ;) If something takes alot less time than its booked up at we charge alot less ;) charging more time than it actually takes is only 1 step away from theft in my eyes...

shame not all places see it like that. I only use one garage and usually that's for a quick favour and that's because he's an absolutely sound bloke! :y:

Eventually most ppl will find a garage thats fair and stick with it from then on. There are loads of repeat customers where I work, we're always fully booked up by 2 weeks in advance, what recession? lol.

lol, I only go there for jobs I can't do at home. They've patched I don't know how many tires for me, And sorted out a couple of blowing exhaust for both me and my rents. Last time I went there was to ask them to flick a tyre over an a new alloy I had. Stupid cunts put 3 on for the left and one for the right. :wall: That just topped off everything else they had fucked up with those alloys.

Just slip the boys in the garage the odd fiver now and again and we get on greatc:y:
