i went to the petrol station 2 fill my car up 2 the top and when i filled it fully up as it was refusing to take anymore then when i got in the petrol gague was sayin i had just over half a tank is that a common fault with these

Nope - best bet is to check the float on your fuel tank if your sure you put enough fuel in to fill it up.

If youvlift up the rear bench and take off one of those covers you'll see the fuel pump - it needs to come out to check the float.
