Currently got a mk1 westcoast, 55k miles pretty standard just induction and exhaust. Paid a grand for it end of last year, and paying 950 for insurance, 0 years claims at 23 y/o.
Basically Im wanting to go for a VTS!! I have £1000 saved and just started a new job, sold my last saxo for £800 which im awaiting on the funds, and will be selling the car to upgrade, so at least 2.5k to spend on a vts.
Insurance is up july 31, but I suppose I could get it in june as the insurance would have been paid up by then and would only need to pay the extra added on.
So...save a few hundred more to get near 3k, or go find one right now?!
Cheers :y:

Depends what you're after mate. When I was looking, the most expensive one I found was asking £3250. That was an 03 plate, totally standard, full service history and 26,000 miles! That was an absolute minter!
The one I ended up buying was 500 quid, totally standard, 78k, T reg.
So that gives you a rough idea of what you'll be looking at getting :y:

Can sell my car to the gf now so that would release funding a vts.
Looking at the for sale section, found two for under 2k.

First ones modded, wouldnt need to do much to it. Second ones got more miles, but its standard and can mod from scratch if i wanted to. Im only 5 miles from work now so would be doing under 2500 miles a year which is nothing! I really want a vts now, love my westie but im ready for the beast lol. I know patience is a virtue, but i think i have enough to get what Im looking for now, why wait?!
Need pushing in one direction, but obviously swaying towards new :panic:
