right

im getting 16s soon 195/40/16

a friend of mine i was talkn to said he had these on his saxo and it rubbed! now he said he had the correct offset ET18 195/40/16 and it rubbed with 1 person in the back. he said these would only fit correctly on VTR AND VTS

now i have a furio MK2 and i just wanted to know if i get these alloys n tyres in this size will it rub?

No it wont rub as the furio has the same arches as the vtr/s. I had the same size wheels on mine which is lowered 60mm an I could have a full car with no probs at all. smileys/smiley2.gif

you might have to fit extra 3-5mm spacers on the rear to stop it rubbing on the inner arch on the Furio.

get the raer arches done, i got 16s and i got my arches cut and welded and no probs now but i did b4.

With 40 profile tyres you'll have no rubbing at all! you may have to take the arch liners out but I really doubt it on a 30mm drop.

i had to grind away the bumper bracket but i have 45 profile tyres on my wheels. will be fine with 40 profiles

195-40-16's wiv a 50m drop is fine, if it scrubs slightly there wont be much work needed to stop it.

I had 5mm spacers on back of my Westie, to stop the rubbing on inside. I took them off when I upgrade to discs at the back. As the drums are slightly further in compared to discs.
