how easy is it to raise the rear end of my vts

i would of thought, same as lowering, remove the torsion bar, drop the arm and put it back in again ? ...

would it be expensive to get it done at a garage im not very mechanically minded

im guessing u have lowred it more than standered, and want it back up a bit.
once the torsion bar has been removed, aslong as its been greased up and put back in right, it should jsut slide straight out without any hassle... there are plenty of threads on how to lower it... just do the same, but instead of raising the arm, lower it...

raisin a lowered car is illegal and pointless! but yea its the exact same as lowering, u just need to do some maths!

Raising a lowered car illegal and pointless?? Never heard that one before lol


The theory behind it is really easy but the practical side can be a pain in the arse depending on condition of parts etc etc. How long ago was it lowered (and to what drop out of interest?)

The guides posted are relatively good explaining the basics but does nothing to help you out if/when you encoutner a problem

If you dont fancy having a go or you struggle with is gimme a PM as i can do it

illegal ? ... so you never see 4x4 / pickup turning the leaf springs around to jack up ?
