definately decided now on either, 50mm apex or 40mm spax. both the fixed rate spring and damper kit., which is best? i want best handling and will be adding powerflex bushes as well

Id personaly go for the 40mm spax kit if you want good handling. But wait to hear from more experienced people like kam and others before buying

the spax come in quite a bit cheaper than the apex, not that apex are out of budget and 35mm apex would be considered.
so basically ive narrowed down fuck all lol

personally id go for the apex 50mm, no reason other than its nice and low without being too low. all about personal choice though, if your going for handling then id reckon 35 or 40 would be your best bet

i wanna raise it, got it on its arse at the minute and got annoyed with it. im swaying towards spax because 40mm would be ideal

i've got apex 55mm on mine and i think it's the bollicks! handles like a dream and sits low enough. i'd go for that... imo :y:

spax springs have a non-linear spring rate. which means they stiffen up substantially the more the car rolls. Sounds good, but it actually means the side of the car internal to the bend lifts a fair bit. Making handling dogshiz.
apex ftw (i hope - fitting them next week)
