Starter Motor

Think my starter motor has gone!

I go to start the car and nothing happens at all, it sounds lke that there's no battery power but I know its not the battery as everything else is working.
Can any1 confirm that its more than likely the starter motor?

yeah pretty much sounds like your starter has gone mate , is it still on the car ? ?

Yeah. It starts one minute then doesn't the next. Just stalled at the traffic lights then the fcuker wouldn't start. The 20 people stuch behind me weren't best pleased lol.

My old car had the same problem so I used to hit it wth a hammer lol

If the car is running though and it cuts out, it shouldnt really be a starter motor issue? (correct me if im wrong)

It doesn't cut out once started. Its getting started thats the problem! Woke up this morning and it worked fine. Wonder if it will when its time to finish work??
