hi guys i know this is non saxo related question but does anyone know how easy it is to put a 1.8 16v clio engine in a 5 turbo??

why not go bigger? clio 172 engine? volvo 1.7 turbo engine?

my mate in work did it in his renault 5....is running at 180bhp at mo with a 1.8 clio engine, it is hard work and he needs to know exactly what he's doing to get it right lmao

1.7l turbo, mod it with the usual breathing parts, uprated turbo, intercooler stuff like that, and u will have an r5 that can piss over alot of carsout there, i for 1 should know, my mates is fast enough :D

Bolt a turbo on the 1.8 and then theres not.

Not everyone wants turbo power aswell, plus the old 1.4 engine is quite basic in terms of egineering terms

vag 1.8t is a good choice, its been done once but to great effect.
