When I pull away in second pretty hard it feels like its lacking power, the revs go up but it just doesnt seem right, it sometimes judder when i pull away aswell. Also when it is staionary with the engine running, after about 8mins it stalls.
What could the problem be? A friend is doing a service on it tomorrow so what shall i ask him to check for?
Thanks

Nah mate, but that could be something else to do with the misfiring...

Check oil level, any leaks around fuel rail etc..

Does your only do it in 2nd gear? Mine is through-out the gears

Oil is fine, no leaks as far as im aware.
Well I only get the judder in second and feel the lack of power mostly in second, sometimes in third but not as much.
Like I said i'm having it serviced by a mate tormorrow so will see what he says, nothing too expensive I hope !

Only thing he may discover in the service is a blocked air filter or blocked fuel filter and spark plugs. Nothing else will be relavant. Have you taken it to a garage and had a diagnostics? I have and nothing came up :homme:

More than likely that it won't be mate. I've changed everything that would be changed in a service and nothing has happened. Also been to garage and had a diagnostic, but nothing. Had lots of sensors changed also... Only thing that i think it could be is the coilpack.

Take out one of the spark plugs and rest it on the engine bay or on something. Then connect it back to the plug on top and start the car, if its sparking you should see it on the part where it hooks back.

Also, when this started to happen did you hit a big pot hole or a big bump in the road? or possible kurb it?
Can you smell petrol when you try to start the car?

Is it safe? Seems dodgy to me. So i just take spark plug out, and coilpack. And then fit the plug in the coilpack? One by one i presume? If one or two isn't sparking is that a fault with the coilpack?

Well just had it serviced, new oil, plugs ect and it feels ALOT better.
Its still not 100% in second but barely noticable, he said it might be something to do with the injectors but isnt a big problem unless i want it to be
