Transfer from PC to PS3

i have a completely legal film on my PC that i want to put onto my PS3

how do i do it.

I transfer my files with a 1GB USB drive. Click and dag the file onto the drive, or right click and send to. when its plugged into the PS3 go to the removable drive and I think you press triangle and "explore", go to the film and go on the "options" (triangle again?) and copy.

thats how i transfer music, i would guess it be the same for films.

if the settings on your router are all set up right and if your pc is wireless you can match it with your PS3 and do easy wireless transfers, have you tried that ?

my PS3 is broke atm so i can't try it but i think if you're on vista and you set network discovery ( i think ) and media sharing then search for devices or servers or whatever from the PS3 it should pick up your PC, it worked for me, but i can't be certain how

i think there is a way to copy it off the media server, if you have one that is
