hey,

i've jsut had the cambelt snap on my saxo vts... it owes me £400 for recent things spent on it but nothing special that could be sold on...

now the question is do i break the car for bit's. if so how much do you think i would get? 67k engine. good body work, good alloy wheels, good interior etc etc

if i repaired the car. i would more than likely change the engine unless anyone know's where i can get a cylinder head for less than £200ish? then would sell the car and prob aim to get about £1000+ for it. (is that a realistic sail price)

or third option. sell it to someone else for £xxx so that they can decide what to do with it?

opinions ppl?

MK1 or 2?
General overall condition?
Most importantly...can you do the work yourself or would you need to pay garage to fix it?

it's a mark2, generally good condition... i would near great if i was tbh...

there wouldn't be a problem doing all the work myself in about 3 weeks. just broke my knee so can't walk....
